We started The Cusp out of the pure pleasure of designing and making furniture for ourselves. We love the creativity and freedom of designing our own pieces and we wanted to share this with people who also valued owning unique handmade furniture.

We are privileged to live in the beautiful Queenstown area of the South Island, New Zealand where we draw inspiration from the dramatic landscape. We respect the environment we live in and attempt to minimise waste through clever designs and the use of off-cuts for smaller items. Our preferred finishing products are all natural based.
